As the nights draw in and we head into Winter months, things are feeling extra creative here at the North West Jewellery School! The studio becomes a cosy creative space as we enjoy the warmth that our building benefits from. Our windows have been freshly painted for Autumn but we will soon be changing to our Christmas window so keep your eyes peeled!
Our new weekly class term begins on Monday 3rd November, when we will welcome back our students for their pre Christmas making. It is always a fun term as people start making gifts for loved ones! We still have a few spaces available for anyone looking to join our weekly classes next term, so if you fancy getting creative, it’s the perfect time to learn new skills before the festive season.
In the run-up to Christmas, we’ll also be out and about across the North West, taking part in a range of community events and markets. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, share our jewellery-making skills, and support local causes — find out where we’ll be and come say hello!

Creative Collaboration Corner
This month, we’re shining a spotlight on S.I.S – Strength in Struggles CIC, a wonderful local organisation dedicated to wellbeing and community support. On Saturday 1st November, SIS will be hosting their second wellbeing event at Whalley Methodist Church, building on the success of their first event in May.
The day will feature talks from a fantastic line-up of guest speakers, demonstrations, a raffle, and even a Thai Chi session. This event is a brilliant example of the inspiring work SIS does to support the community and promote wellbeing.
We love seeing organisations like SIS making a positive impact, and supporting them - whether through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word - is a great way to get involved.
