Save the date! Our Open Weekend is taking place on 12th and 13th September, and we would love for you to join us.
Whether you've been thinking about learning a new skill, are considering joining one of our weekly jewellery classes, have your eye on one of our workshops, or simply fancy coming along to see what we are all about, our Open Weekend is the perfect opportunity to come and explore.
Over the weekend, our doors will be open for you to meet the team, look around our studio, see jewellery being made and discover more about everything North West Jewellery School has to offer. And, of course, there will be plenty going on!

Ever wondered who will be helping you at the bench? Our Open Weekend is a great chance to meet our tutors, ask questions and find out more about the classes and workshops we offer.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some jewellery-making experience, our tutors can tell you more about how we can help you develop your skills and find the right class or workshop for you.
Explore our studio
Come and have a look around our jewellery-making space and see where all the making happens. We have created a warm and welcoming studio where people can learn, experiment and get creative. Our Open Weekend gives you the chance to see the space for yourself and get a feel for what it is like to spend time at the bench.
If you've never been inside a jewellery school before, you might be surprised by just how much there is to discover!
See jewellery being made with live demonstrations
Curious about what actually happens at the jewellery bench? There will be live demonstrations throughout the Open Weekend, giving you the opportunity to see some of the techniques we teach in action.
It's a great chance to get a glimpse into the jewellery-making process and perhaps discover a technique that you'd love to learn yourself.
Have a go with our mini sessions
Don't just watch, have a go!
Our Mini Sessions will give visitors the chance to get involved and experience a little taste of jewellery making for themselves. If you've always wondered whether jewellery making is for you, this could be the perfect opportunity to give it a try in a relaxed and supportive environment.
You never know, you might discover a new favourite hobby!
Discover our students' creativity
We love seeing what our students create, and our Student Showcase will give you the opportunity to see some of their wonderful work. Our students work on their own projects, learning new techniques and developing their skills as they go. The results are wonderfully varied, from delicate pieces to bold statement jewellery.
The showcase is also a great way to see what is possible when you have the skills, support and confidence to bring your own ideas to life.

Browse handmade jewellery
Fancy taking home something beautiful? There will be handmade jewellery for sale during the Open Weekend, giving you the chance to browse unique pieces made with creativity and care.
It is also a lovely opportunity to discover some jewellery made by the people within our creative community.

There will be light refreshments available throughout the weekend, so you can grab a drink, have a chat and take your time looking around.
