About the event

We invite you to delve into the vibrant world of enamelling in this immersive taster session, where you will make 2-4 copper coated pendants of varying sizes and designs.

You will be given time to explore the variety of techniques and finishes before creating your designs either freehand or using our large range of stencils. Once you are happy with your designs, you will be supported through the process to help you achieve impressive results.

Each of your copper pendants will be finished off with a silver jump ring and a sterling silver chain.

But what is Enamelling?

Enamelling is an intricate process using minute glass particles and powders and through the alchemy of heat (from our trusty kiln), they forge a resilient coat of colour. As the enamel melts, it fuses to the pre prepared metal surface. You can also use glass chips and tiny glass rods to create patterns and textures.
